Anna D. Ware, 84, of Rossville, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, in a local hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Rossville and was a member of the Simpson Memorial Methodist Church where she had served as the Church Organist. Mrs. Ware was the first organist at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, in 1958. She had worked for the Teamsters local as an office clerk and retired from K-Mart of Fort Oglethorpe after several years of service.
Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her children, Sonny Ware and Carolyn Keesey.
Survivors are grandsons, Marty Keesey, Rossville and Kevin Ware, Kennesaw, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Sissy Ware, Rossville, and friend, Bob Morris, Rossville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Harr and Rev. Kenneth Conner officiating.
Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
