Elizabeth Ware, age 86, of Urbana, Oh., died Tuesday, June 27, 2000 at 12:15 a.m. in Eaglewood Care Center, Springfield, Oh. She was born October 26, 1913 in Urbana, Oh. to Sam and Icy (Goings) Finley. She was a homemaker. Survived by her children, John (Joan) Ware of Urbana, Gilbert (Barbara) Ware of Springfield, Barbara (Robert) Booker Sr., Alan (Antoinette) Ware, all of Columbus, Oh.; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, John Warren (Mary) Boyd; and a host of relatives friends. Preceded in death by her mother Icy Boyd, husband John H. Ware in 1985 and sisters Marie Routt and Jeanette Mosley. She was a member of the Hill Street Church of God and later became a member of the Northside Church of God. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2000 in the WALTER-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, Oh., where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. Burial in Oak Dale Cemetery.
