Ellen E. Ware, 93, formerly of Beloit, died at 3:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at Crandall Medical Center I.
She was born Jan. 2, 1910, in East Palestine, Ohio, to George W. and Carrie (Sutherin) Wilson. Mrs. Ware was a fifth and sixth grade teacher in the Sebring and West Branch school districts. She retired in 1971.
She was a former member of the former Sebring Alma Chapter O.E.S. #498 and was a member of the Sebring Golden Agers, Alliance Retired Teachers Association and Pine Lake Christian Church.
Her husband, Charles E. Ware, whom she married June 9, 1936, preceded her in death April 8, 2000. A daughter Patricia Richard, a sister, Cora Difloure, and a brother, Homer Wilson, are also deceased.
Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Slagle of Beloit, Martha Binkowski of Katy, Texas, and Marilyn Scott of Avon; two sisters, Jentsie Brelih of Salem and Etta Mae Browand of Grafton; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, at Gednetz-Ruzek Funeral Home with Vernon Russell officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home.
