BARBERTON — Doris M. Snyder (nee Ware), 86, died Oct. 23, 1995 at East Pasco Medical Center of Zephyrhills, Fla.
Born in Barberton, she was a life resident of the Barberton-Norton area. Mrs. Snyder was employed by the Barberton and Norton grade schools as a teacher for 30 years, retiring in 1975. She was a graduate of Akron University, and was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Barberton Womens Club, and former Barberton City Club, Barberton Teachers Association, O.E.A., N.E.A., A.A.R.P., and was an avid square-dancer.
She is survived by her husband, Walter J.; son, Michael and daughter-in-law, Sue of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; daughter, Mrs. Marilyn (Paul) Dickel of Barberton; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; cousin, Miss Catherine Hanna of Barberton.
Funeral services Saturday, 9:30 a.m., at the Hahn Funeral Home, with Mass of the Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Fr. James Maloney, celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours TODAY, 4 to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association.
