Nancy (Ware) Sammann 1942 – 2017 Springfield, IL—Nancy (Ware) Sammann, 74, of Springfield, passed away at 11:27 p.m. on Monday, May 29, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Nancy was born on December 21, 1942 in Springfield, the daughter of Ivan and Myrtle Painter Ware. She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Kenneth Gooch; five sisters, Barbara Parton, Vicki Mansfield, Frances Brinkley, Betty Moore, and Ruth Mattingly; and two brothers, Herschel Ware and Ivan Ware, Jr. She is survived by five siblings, Shirley Swain of Auburn, George (wife, Sigi) Ware, Catherine Fisher, Ed Ware and Michael Ware, all of Springfield. Visitation and Funeral Ceremony: Family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Kirlin-Egan & Butler Funeral Home, 900 S. 6th St., Springfield. A Funeral Ceremony will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paula Brayden officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
