Rusty Ware, 45, of Benton, and formerly of El Dorado, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Saline Medical Hospice in Bryant.

Born Nov. 23, 1971 in El Dorado, he was the son of Ronald Elbert Ware and Angelia Gunter Ware. Rusty was an artist and poet; who enjoyed computers and fishing. He was a member of East Faulkner Church of Christ. Rusty loved spending time with his family and friends talking about his many collections.

Rusty was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparents, Selvyn and Lillian Gunter; and paternal grandparents, Elbert and Hazel Ware.

He is survived by his mother, Angie Gunter Ware; and his brother, Lance Ware, both of El Dorado; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 26 at Young’s Chapel with David Howell and Dr. Jim Bullock officiating. Interment will follow at Craig Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Young’s.
