William B. Ware, 65 of Central Square, passed away unexpectedly on June 1. He was born and grew up in Athol, MA. Bill graduated from UMASS Amherst in 1974 and worked for Ingersol Rand for 37 years as the Sales Engineer and retired in 2008. He loved his family more than anything and that includes his dogs, Prince and Poochie and the cats, Jack and Nellie. He looked forward to having the grandchildren over to the house and was the best “bumpa” ever. Bill was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and always enjoyed going to Fenway Park to watch the “Sox”. He was the best father there was for his son, Tyler, his stepsons, TJ and Kenny, loved life and enjoyed vacationing in St. Thomas with the love of his life, Colleen. Bill will also be missed by his family at OTB as he loved spending time with them and betting the ponies.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Ware; Fiance, Colleen Taylor; son, Tyler Ware; step-sons, Kenny Thompson and TJ Taylor; his grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Alianna Taylor and Hailie Thompson, Skye Thompson & Kenny Thompson; three brothers, Robert T. (Linda) Ware, Richard E. Ware and John P. (Patricia) Ware; sister, Susan M. (William) Dornbos and niece, Ella Kay Taylor. He is predeceased by his father, Walter Ware.
