Clyde “David” Ware, 78, of Cleveland passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was a Christian musician who loved to play his guitar at church and sing in the Gospel Light Trio. He was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was employed at Mullinax Lincoln Mercury for 20 years. David was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Lester Ware and Dorothy Ware Hackney; infant daughter, Dannette Yvonne Ware; and sister, Patricia Tipton.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sadie Tinsley Ware of Cleveland; children: Tim Ware Sr. of Cleveland and John Mark Ware and wife, Vera, of Madisonville; six grandchildren: Richael Roberts and husband, Chris, Elizabeth Bedwell, Faith Ware, Tinsley Ware, T.J. Ware and Austin Ware; five great-grandchildren: Trinity Macon, Serenity Macon, Cayleigh Roberts, Sophia Roberts and Aiden Bedwell; siblings: Larry and Louise Ware, Terry Ware and Carmen Mendez and Renee and Dean Woods; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today, January 13, 2019, at Cloverleaf Baptist Church with the Reverend Donny Dalton and the Reverend Gary Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Keith Baggett, Arnold Johnson, Danny Scoggins, Bill Wilson, Steve Wright and Jerry Wilson serving as pallbearers.
