Lynn Ware

Lynn Ware went to be the Lord on Feb. 4, 2018. Born Clara Lynn McCain in Tunica, Miss., on Dec. 5, 1930, Lynn attended Mississippi University for Women. She later moved to Memphis, Tenn., where she met her husband of nearly 60 years, Don H. Ware Sr.

She raised her family in Nashville, Tenn., before retiring to St. Simons Island, Ga. Lynn was a passionate gardener and devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and her dog, Benji.

She is survived by her husband, Don; her sons, Don Jr. (Linda) and Scott (Kim); her grandchildren, Mary Lynn (Chad) Adcock, Katie, Christine, Lindsay, Grace and Lea; and her great-granddaughter, Ezra Grace Adcock.

A memorial will held from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 18 at the Ware residence in Nashville. For details, call 615-568-2394. There will also be a memorial from 2-4 p.m. Feb. 25 at Marsh’s Edge on St. Simons Island. Both memorials will include a reception for family and friends.
