David Lee Ware, 72, a longtime resident of Alvarado, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, Friday, July 5, 2019.
David was born July 19, 1946 in Fort Worth, TX. the son of Alvin David and Helen Ruth Plambeck Ware. He served in the US Navy. David married Tammy Lenard October 23, 1993 in Alvarado. He was the owner and operator of Progressive Trucking. David liked Boating, Bar B Queing, shooting his guns, and most of all he loved spending time with his family.

David is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kelsey Ware; brothers, Jimmy Murrell and Charles Murrell
Those left to cherish his memory: His loving wife of 25 years, Tammy Ware of Alvarado; children, Becky Whittington of Alvarado, Cassie Newton and husband David of Alvarado, Tammy Pence and husband Derrick of Cleburne, Michelle Ware of Alvarado; Scott Ware of Wyoming; brother, Jesse Medley and wife Linda of Lampasas; sister, Shirley Hale and husband David; grandchildren, Morgan Whittington of Alvarado, Kayden Newton of Alvarado and 6 additional grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
