David Eugene Ware, 74, passed away Sept. 17, 2018. Survived by wife of 52 years, Suzanne Vobroucek Ware; children, Sean (Stephanie) Ware and Stephanie (Marv) Johnson; grandchildren, Brielle, Alanna and Nadia Jackson; siblings, Don Ware, Kathy Allison and Larry (Hope) Ware; brother-in-law, Dick (Debbie) Vobroucek; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Dave was born to James and Helen Ware on June 2, 1944 in Peoria, Ill., and had been a Pueblo resident since 1974. He served in the Army, earning the rank of captain in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Upon moving to Pueblo, he was a prosecutor for the District Attorney. He entered private practice and retired from Altman, Keilbach, Lytle, Parlapiano and Ware. He was president of the Rocky Mountain Boy Scouts Council and the Red Cross Board. He was a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the American, Colorado and Pueblo Bar associations. Dave balanced his law practice with an array of hobbies that included music, backpacking, sailing, skiing, canoeing, cycling and photography, among many others. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Ascension Episcopal Church, 420 W. 18th St. Inurnment, Ascension Episcopal Church Columbarium.
