Mrs. Martha Hazel Ware, 77, of Winona, died of heart failure Tuesday, September 1, 1998, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.

Mrs. Ware, a homemaker, was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Walker.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 3, at Oliver Chapel with the Rev. John L. Walker officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona.

Mrs. Ware is survived by her husband, Wayman R. Ware of Winona; one daughter, Dinah Herring of Winona; three sons, Don Ware of Ridgeland, Kenny Ware and David Ware, both of Winona; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Chet Ware, Walker Ware, Mike Herring, Pat Herring, Keith Ware, Davey Ware and Derek Ware.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
