“Wm. Ware, 85, Dies Tuesday

Funeral services for William Ware, 85, will be held at three o’clock Thursday at Little’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Ware died Tuesday, March 2, at the residence of his son Leon, where he made his home. His wife succumbed Feb. 6.

Born in Elmwood Township December 13, 1885, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William R. Ware.

He and Miss Gertrude Deming were married in Cass City Sept. 26, 1906, and the couple made their home in Evergreen Township.

Besides his son [Leo S. Ware], he is survived by five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Howard Woodard will officiate, with burial in Elkland Cemetery.”
