“J. O. Ware Jr., 78, of Tupelo, died May 10, 1991 at his residence. He was the band director at Itawamba Community College from 1966 – 1979. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Services were at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home with burial in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Pattie Lewis Ware; one daughter, Patrice W. Box of Ripley, Tenn.; three brothers, Lester Ware of Brandon, Eugene Ware of Jackson and Marvin Ware of Calif.; three grandchildren.”
