“Jack C Ware Sr., 69, was dead on arrival at the Singing River Hospital Wednesday, at 5:45 pm, a resident of Rollins St. Moss Point. A native and life-long resident of Jackson County, born March 29, 1900.
Mr. Ware was a pulpwood worker most of his life.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Gill Ware of Gautier; two sons, Ervin Ware of Morgan City, LA; J.C. Ware, Jr., of Helena; three daughters, Mrs. Katie Mae Bangs of Saucier, Mrs. Mary Eunice Cates of Gautier, Mrs. Earline Fountain of Gautier; two brothers, W.C. Ware of Biloxi; Leonard Ware of Vancleave; 2 sisters; Mrs. Ella Lee Knight of NY, NY; and Mrs. Esther Moore of North Biloxi; 10 grandchildren, nieces; nephews, and other relatives.

Friends may call after 5:30 pm today at the O’Bryant-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 4811 Telephone Rd., Pascagoula. The body will be taken to the Antioch Baptist Church in Fort Bayou Community at 10:30 Friday morning where funeral services will follow at 11:30 with the Rev. Danny Marie, Pastor of the Church of God and Rev. W.C. Burns, Pastor of the Gautier Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.”
