“Funeral services for Mr. Harvey Ware, 83, were held at 2 p.m., April 20 at New Haven Baptist Church in Weir. Rev. Bobby Parish and Rev. Jim Ballard officiated. Burial followed in New Haven Cemetery in Choctaw County.

A resident of Weir, Mr. Ware was Born Dec. 27, 1925 in Choctaw County to Azee and Homa Garrett Ware. He was a plumber and pipefitter and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union NO. 619 for over 50 years. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.

Mr. Ware died Friday, April 17, 2009 at his residence in Weir.

Survivors include wife Christina Ware of Weir, sons Jim (Kitty) Ware of Huntsville, Ala., Randy (Betty Rose) Ware of Dalton, Ga., sister Mary Sue Hoskins of Kilmichael, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Tony Ware, Keith Ware, Larry Greenlee, Jeffrey Hutchinson, Brian Lucas and Earl Lucas.

Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.”
