Mervin R. Ware Obituary, 2011

WARE — MERVIN R. (PING) Age 87, of Albuquerque, passed away, Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Mervin served his country in the US Navy in WWII and Korea, retiring after more than twenty years, as a Chief Petty Officer. He continued to serve as a Civilian with the Department of the Navy. He is survived by daughters, Diane Ware, Barbara Jean Ware, Karen Wells and husband Don, Becky Brown and husband Ed, Carol Weiland and husband Kip; sons, Dennis Ware and wife Barbara, Bert Ware and wife Judy, Scott Ware and wife Jody, Wesley Ware and Janet, Timothy Trout and wife Linda and Raymond Trout and wife Patty; brother Byron Ware and wife Betty; and numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren and friends. Mervin was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia and his second wife, Delores. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 17, 2011, 10:30 AM, at Alameda Baptist Church, 8818 Second St. NW, with ennichement at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 PM with full military honors.
