Margaret Ann (Ware) Doke: age 81: of Clare, formerly of Mt. Pleasant: passed away at Tendercare, Mt. Pleasant on April 18, 2015. Private services were conducted by the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. She was born February 21, 1934 in Detroit the daughter of Carrol and Lydia Ware. Margaret was a 1953 graduate of Lincoln Park High School in Redford, MI. She was employed by Bell Telephone and later self-employed in Mt. Pleasant and Coleman.

Survivors include her husband Robert, sons David Ware and wife Betty, Kirt Doke and wife Lesa, Glenn Doke and wife Beverly, daughter Karen Kuipers and husband John, sister Shirley West and husband Michael, brother Robert Ware, grandchildren Carissa West, Theresa Ware, Shannon Ware, Savannah Doke and nine nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carrol Ware, Raymond Ford, sisters Beverly Eaton, and Juanita Knepper.

Margaret enjoyed travel, riding horses, collecting rocks, star gazing, bowling, card playing, following the Tigers and Lions, and the music of Frank Sinatra.
