Joseph R. Ware Died: Nov. 18, 2013; in Spring Grove Joseph R. Ware, age 73, of Spring Grove, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was born in Chicago, to George and Helen (n?e Coleman) Ware. He served as a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, is retired from the City of Chicago Water Department, and worked for McHenry County Conservation District post-retirement. While his family was his first love, he also enjoyed woodworking, bird watching, participating in historical reenactments, and his cats. He is survived by his wife, Liz Ware; his children, Sheila (and Nick) White, Dena Ware, and Tony (and Betty) Hurmis; and grandchildren, Katherine and Graham White, and Nina, Anita, and Danielle Hurmis; his brother, George (and Carol) Ware; and sister, Sheila Rudolph; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, George Ware. A memorial service celebrating Joe ‘s life to be held at a later date.
