She leaves her father, Humphrey Ware Sr. of Leominster, Mass.; five brothers, her twin, Humphrey Ware Jr., and Patrick and Philip Ware, all of Leominster, William Ware of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., and Mark Ware of Worcester, Mass.; and a nephew. She was born in Holden, daughter of Catherine (Harnett) Ware, and was raised there, graduating from Wachusett Regional High School. She received master’s degrees in education and communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass., and Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y.
Miss Ware taught at public and private schools in Los Angeles and Boston, and on Martha’s Vineyard. She was also was a producer’s assistant for television soap operas and documentary films.
The funeral service and burial on Martha’s Vineyard will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Worcester County Habitat for Humanity, 70 Douglas St. Leominster, MA 01453.
