Ada Ora Ross Ware Obituary, 2018

Ada Ora Ware, age 90 of Blue Ridge, formerly of Mineral Bluff, passed away December 30, 2017, at home with family by her side.

Mrs. Ware was born July 2, 1927, in Mineral Bluff, Georgia, to the late Fred Ross and the late Bessie Jones Ross. A member of Prospect Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by brothers, Luther Ross and Gene Ross; sister, Stella Dillard and infant brother and sisters, Homer, Pat and Mary Ellen. Ada worked as a seamstress for Levi Strauss and in her spare time she enjoyed gardening and quilting. Survivors include: daughters, Ethelene (Danny) Ensley, Viola Patterson and Devina (Cecil) Lee; brother, Carl Ross; four grandchildren, Jimmy Patterson Jr., Darvin Couch, Renee Hollis and Andy Rhodes; five great-grandchildren, Katelin Patterson, Taylor Couch, Jacob Hollis, Reese Hollis and Hudson Nickerson; several nieces and nephews and special caregivers, Gail Burnett, Felicia Deal, Stephanie Gordy and Sandra Trull.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 2 p.m., at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Fair officiating. Music by Charlie Farmer and Renee Watkins.

Interment followed in the Ross Cemetery. The family received friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Tuesday, January 2, 2018, from 5 p.m. -9 p.m. Flowers will be accepted or you may choose to make a donation to PruittHealth Hospice of Blue Ridge, 706-632-0027, 6050 Appalachian Hwy, Blue Ridge, GA 30513. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Georgia.
