“Orin O. Ware was born in Wilmington, August 12, 1847, and was there reared and educated.  Since early life he has been actively engaged in mercantile pursuits in Wilmington, where he has a large store, well stocked with general merchandise.  He is the eldest son of the late Schuyler and Harriet (Gaines) Ware, who reared five sons and one daughter,..  On June 26,1872, Mr Ware married Lucy M. Richardson and they have two children, Ellen Lucy and Katherine Stuart.”
